JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator/Job Captain will be responsible for working under the direction of a project manager to create design development and construction documents, manage consultants, and oversee drafting by junior team members or outsourced drafting services. The position requires strong technical proficiency, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, architects, engineers, and construction professionals. Must currently live in or be willing to move to Las Vegas, NV for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate redlines for multiple team members and provide feedback/direction to consultants to ensure that design intent is maintained throughout all phases of a project
- Work under the direction of the project manager to develop and coordinate design development and construction documents for multiple projects
- Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address concerns or issues
- Coordinate with the drafting team, including junior team members or outsourced drafting services, to ensure that project timelines are met
- Participate in the construction administration phase of projects, including site visits and review of submittals and RFI’s
- Manage consultants, including engineers, contractors, and other consultants, to ensure that project requirements are met
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a project coordinator/job captain, with at least 5 years in an Architectural firm
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Experience in Construction Administration is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong technical proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- 7 years minimum Revit experience
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has supervisory responsibilities providing guidance and support to junior team members and assisting in their professional development

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
- Qualified candidates may expect two to four interviews with: Chief Executive Officer, Principals, Design team, and Project Management team.
- The initial qualification interview with the recruiter is 1 hour.
NOTE: This is a full-time position with minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours are somewhat flexible, and some late evenings and weekends may be required.
