What You Will Achieve
A Project Coordinator role is available within the Project and Portfolio Management Group in the Pfizer Biotherapeutics Pharmaceutical Sciences Department. The position will support the Global Submission and Global submission accelerations for each WRD team. The position will also be responsible for developing and harmonizing the set of tools for managing these submissions to support portfolio reporting which will be used to forecast resource capacity to meet portfolio objectives. The position will report to Director or Sr. Director of Portfolio and Project Management in Andover. The successful applicant will join a cross site group to provide project management support to the Biotherapeutics Pharmaceutical Sciences organization along with the CoDev and PGS organizations to ensure proper execution for late-stage product development CMC regulatory submission support. The position will also participate in small special projects teams and Limited Duration Teams (LDT) as identified and needed with in the BTx organization.
How You Will Achieve It
  • Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of general meeting support, actively managing the teams’ Integrated Project Plans (IPP) across multifunctional teams. This will also include scientific disciplines, identifying and communicating schedule and resource risks and opportunities, conducting various asset team project scenario analyses, recognizing project successes and achievements.
  • The successful candidate will also have an understanding and knowledge of fundamental project management principles and concepts, be highly organized, have strong interpersonal skills and is willing to be an active contributing member of the team while working in a highly balanced matrix environment.
  • The Project Coordinator would be expected to support multiple projects within established technologies and modality platforms.
  • This Project Coordinator will also support portfolio reporting within the BTx organization, and assist with systems troubleshooting, milestone tracking, and data analytics/triage.
  • Late-Stage portfolio and project effort is focused primarily on developing and managing project plan execution trackers and plans through the use of Excel and or Microsoft Project supporting both project teams and sub-teams along with coordinating questions/queries from regulatory agencies and associated responses. Responsibilities will be to create execution status dashboards supporting the teams and the portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Capable of working with in a high matrixed, fast paced environment.
  • BS/BA in Biological or Engineering Sciences.
  • 1 year of previous experience working with software supporting business/project operations (MS Project, MS Office).
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong proactive/reactive organizational skills are a must have requirement.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Office required.
Nice To Have
  • Previous experience in biological engineering sciences.
  • Capable of managing cross functional cross site global teams.
  • PMI certifications
  • Working knowledge of MSP, Spotfire, Business Intelligence, and One Pager Pro

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Standard Working / Operational hours. Some travel required (5-10%).
  • Work Location Assignment: Flexible. Flexible colleagues are assigned a Pfizer site within a commutable distance where they work about 2-3 days weekly to connect and innovate with their team face-to-face. However, they also benefit from being able to work offsite regularly when it makes business sense to do so.
