The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join Sinclair Broadcast Group's Innovation & Strategy Team. At Sinclair Broadcast Group, our mission is to connect people with content everywhere – and a core part of this mission involves deepening our competitive edge. You will play a key role in managing initiatives that create new revenue opportunities from ideation through maturation.
Who You Are
You are an organized thinker and problem solver with proven project coordination skills and a consultant mindset. You have a track record of being a self-starter and ability to coordinate projects from beginning to end. You love to be collaborative and influence others around you to come together towards a common goal. This position is a hybrid role based in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with tracking and mitigating project risk.
- Assist Project Managers with multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity.
- Assist with initiatives, including project communications, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, updating project artifacts (e.g., project schedules, presentation decks, tracking logs, reporting, etc.
- Liaise with initiative stakeholders to gather and communicate status, risks, and action items.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Microsoft Project and/or other project tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.)
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in continuous learning and improvement.
- Instinctive qualities of accountability and follow-through
- Ability to plan, organize, track, report, and present to a variety of audiences.
- 1- 3 years' experience working on projects
- Ability to communicate and collaborate proactively and effectively with peers, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Experience in coordinating teams, including external stakeholders
