Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with ad hoc requests and news alerts
  • Plan, develop and execute ongoing projects that impact the pipeline and portfolios of Development
  • Collaborate routinely with clients to monitor pipeline and ensure prospects move through stages of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Periodically review reports and maintain data integrity for prospect data
  • Prepare meeting materials for portfolio reviews
  • Maintain data entry for prospect coding, complete portfolio requests, and tracking
  • Assist with relationship mapping for prospects (corporate prospect and principal prospect planning)
  • Oversee the creation, coordination and execution of special projects
  • Provide assistance with procurement requests and renewals for research resources
  • Analyze and monitor prospect pools for fundraising activity


Position Summary:


This position will support the Executive Director of Analytics and Strategic Initiatives. The role will monitor progress of all assigned prospects and will prompt leaders of Analytics and Strategic Initiatives on prospect updates needed.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 3 years relevant experience required


Preferred Experience/Skills:


  • Knowledge of Advance or any type of fundraising database
  • Ability to design and implement data visualization summaries of donor portfolios
  • Discretion and maintaining confidentiality is a must
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff, particularly in support of medical center goals and initiatives
  • Knowledge of software programs applicable to development is also desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent judgment and sensitivity to interpersonal and organizational dynamics
  • High level of proficiency in key components of Microsoft Office suite of products, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet multiple deadlines
