Job Description

A Columbus client of ours is looking for a Program Manager who is solutions-oriented, deadline-driven, and skilled in building strong relationships with partnering brand teams.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver outstanding execution and management of deadlines for deliverables (including CRM, print, Web, mobile, display advertising, social, video, coupons, in-store, etc.)
  • Financial discipline and attention to detail in reviewing project deliverables for estimates and final billing
  • Ensure recaps and meeting reports are completed and distributed in a timely manner at the end of all interactions where action is needed
  • Manage communications between internal brand and internal creative agency
  • Accountable for final program details to ensure delivery against the assignment brief, including strategic and business objectives, brand and Abbott guidelines, and consistency of message
  • Consistent execution of timelines and budgets (across all projects) to ensure the agency and brand teams are adhering to both
  • Proactivity for timelines, project plan stewardship, financial discipline for billing, more leadership in meetings/calls, content authoring including InDesign work, resizing images, branding stewardship, and more solutions
  • Provide project management discipline perspective to all dialogs and decisions that affect overall business objectives, strategies, competitive threats, customer insights, business plans, business problems, etc., to internal team so they are equally immersed in the brand and are equipped to provide added value
  • Review brand briefs in partnership with Integrated Marketing Manager (IMM) and Associate Creative Director (ACD), to ask questions, gain clarity, provide builds, and make sure brief is solid prior to executing


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of account or project management experience, and/or in a marketing role servicing brand teams in the development of cross-channel marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Understanding of Social Media platforms and best practices
  • Must have proven ability to orchestrate teams to get work done regardless of roadblocks
  • Comprehension of the development and design process that goes into the creation of both Print and Digital programs
  • Client services/account management expertise
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Familiarity with InDesign for resizing images
  • Get it done attitude
  • Must act with professionalism and be able to influence a wide spectrum of people with divergent opinions, responsibilities, and business drivers to support
  • Awareness and ability to anticipate and recognize how data relates to the business
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization to lead and influence a wide range of people
