Job Description

Our client, a Children's Hospital, is actively looking to hire a Program Coordinator to join their team on site in Philadelphia, PA.


***This is a 1 year contract position that can extend or convert**

***This role requires 4 days a week on site***


The Program Coordinator of the Clinical Fellowship, Residency and Observership programs manages the day-to-day operations of the programs in partnership with a second Program Coordinator to serve as an important liaison and facilitator between the learners, faculty, various offices and other staff members.



Responsibilities:


  • Ensure program goals and objectives are met on-time
  • Meet deadlines
  • Work on several projects at once
  • Work closely with directors to identify opportunities for program growth and improvement.
  • Assist the program directors in meeting accreditation requirements, educational programming, and support of clinical fellows, rotators, and clinical observers.
  • Develop knowledge of the ACGME and Program Requirements, including policies and procedures.


Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Required Experience: One - three years of administration, coordination or program experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare related environment.
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
