Description


Join the always-growing family at Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery as we work with our cooperative of local farmers to create award-winning cheese!

Duties And Responsibilities


  • Load/unload trucks as needed.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repetitively.
  • Properly record production data as needed.
  • Operate forklift efficiently and in a safe manner.
  • Properly operate the scan gun in working with products.
  • Perform minor maintenance of equipment.


Cheese Production Only


  • Fill 25 lb. to 50 lb. curd boxes. Proceed to stack these boxes on a pallet.
  • Understand the set up and clean-up operation of the barrel line.
  • Fill and cap 500 lb. barrels. Proceed to arrange barrels on pallets.
  • Accurately set up and run the curd line.
  • Make barrels and boxes for the sale of products.


Whey Production Only


  • When assigned, assist pan operator in cleaning of the evaporators.
  • Accurately and efficiently prepare loads for shipping as per the Bill of Lading.
  • Fill, bag, and stack whey products on a pallet.
  • Assist dryer operators in the shut down and cleaning operations.


Wage


  • Full Time - $25.07/hr + benefits/paid time off!
  • Increase to minimum of $27.07/hr+ after 6 months!
  • Additional bonus pay for overnight and Sunday shifts
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours on a shift


Requirements


Schedule:


  • Full Time = Guaranteed 40 hours per week, plus opportunity for overtime!
  • 2nd and 3rd shift - primary need!
  • Minimum 2 weekends required per month
