The Opportunity

• Facilitate effective sharing of information across work teams, business areas, and functional areas.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of production output, and employee training, and skills assessment/development.
• Interface in Collaboration with Quality Control, Accounting, Marketing, and R&D departments.
• Provide the Business and Technical Leadership necessary to achieve or exceed metrics in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Cost Management.
• Perform first level Leadership providing support, coaching, and direction to the Manufacturing work team.
• Write procedures and SOP's and is instrumental in the implementation and training of the procedures, both new and existing as well as report production on a daily basis

The Skills You Will Bring To The Team

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 2-3 years of production supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant
• Experience in food and/or consumer products environment. Advanced knowledge of GMP/HACCP
• Experience working with nutraceuticals
• Experience managing Continuous Improvement through manufacturing metrics\ (MES/5S/OEE/LEAN MANUFACTURING)
• Knowledge and Experience with Food Production Equipment.
