Salary $130,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details

We are looking to add a Director, Domestic Operations (LTL/FTL) position to our team!

• Ensures that staff is adhering to the strategic plan, delivering status reports to the CEO while managing and coordinating all departments.
• Develop SOP’s for customer retention, customer growth and customer success.
• Background in logistics is a must.
• In collaboration with the CEO, leads strategic planning development activities.
• Company’s designated performance and operations officer for Domestic dept
• Direct oversight to the continued growth and development of the LTL/FTL mode
• Managing and balancing P&L
• Support the CEO in developing and monitoring organization-wide project plans.
• 3PL experience is a must
• Provide staff with a strong day-to-day leadership presence.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of LTL carrier operations, pricing, and industry terminology
• Business development Experience is a must
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with Customers and carriers.
• Practical understanding of TMS Software, and external resources (SMC3)
• Sales team management
• Experience in multi modal operations is a plus
• Proven experience as director of operations in the field of Logistics or relevant role, including Domestic and International logistics
• Understanding and managing P&L
• 5+ years LTL/FTL experience within a 3PL environment
