Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Production Operator in Spartanburg. Our client is a Manufacturer.
Responsibilities Of a Production Operator Includes

• Observe operation of machines and verify conformance of work piece to specifications and dimensions as well as visually inspect parts for non-conformance.
• Performs other duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the company.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. Report any deviations immediately.
• Read and follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Create and maintain a safe and healthful work environment.
• Operate machines in a safe manner to meet production goals.
• Responsible for 5S within the plant and daily housekeeping.
• Trains other employees as needed.

Job Requirements Of a Production Operator
Work is performed in a manufacturing setting which requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and safety shoes with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.

• Ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight ( 8) hours a day.
• Good vision at a close distance is required .
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
• Ability to perform sustained motion for a minimum of eight ( 8) hours a day and capable of repetitive motion for up to four ( 4) hours.
• Ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.
• Ability to work overtime in accordance with policies and procedures.

REQUIRED Experience And Education

• Experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.

• Knowledge of production assembly line processes is a plus.
• High school diploma or general education degree ( GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of metals is a plus.
