Texas Tissue Converting of Houston, Texas is seeking to hire full-time Machine Operators to operate paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. We offer an excellent benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determines and reports downtime to appropriate parties.
• Comply with direction from supervisors and managers.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
• Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
• Operates and monitors equipment, resets, replenishes and troubleshoots assigned area of the line as needed.
• Set up Machines and ensure all production materials are available.

QUALIFICATIONS

• School beyond high school preferred
• Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop for up to 12 hours and lift up to 25 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
• 1-3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, and/or Machine operations.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience
