SK Siltron CSS has a unique opportunity at the Bay City Site in Bay City, MI for an experienced Production Operator to gain broad experience within a small site environment. As a Production Operator, you will perform various operations necessary for the production of silicon carbide wafers in a safe and reliable manner, while also meeting production schedules. This position requires high attention to detail and operational discipline as required by the high standards of the electronics industry

Responsibilities:

• Interaction with computer-controlled Process equipment
• Troubleshooting processes, tools, and equipment
• Interaction with computer-controlled Metrology equipment
• Handling and loading raw materials
• Monitor & operate process equipment ensuring quality and conformance to standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience with production recording software such as SAP
• Able to work a 3-2-2 rotating 12-hour shift.
• Knowledge and experience with computer systems
• Ability to work independently & as a team
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes & 5S organizational practices
• Experience in manufacturing
• Experience with clean room protocols
• Willing and able to work overtime, including holidays, weekends, and on short notice call in as required
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or other equivalent Manufacturing Operations software
• Exceptional attention to detail

Education:

• High School Diploma
