Job Description

Job Title: Production Coordinator – DreamGro

Position Type: Full-Time / Onsite

Salary Range: 50 -60 K

Job Department: DreamGro


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Coordinator will be an excellent multitasker, who is responsible for setting up WIP Report for any/ all new orders by style to track the process of approvals, testing, and inspection. Will be the point person for all product testing, coordination, and follow-up for the DreamGro Division.


  • Review all packages and log in all makers submit into the WIP report and pass to design for comments.
  • Make sure all team members receive the shipping docs.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure CPSIA and CPC letters are issued.
  • Review and approve all shipment bookings.
  • Update any past-due shipping dates.
  • Responsible for setting up a WIP Report for any/ all new orders by style to track the process of approvals, testing, and inspection.
  • Review package comments for clarity, and pass comments to the maker to follow – calling out anything that needs special attention in the email.
  • Work with labs to resolve an issue and set standards/requirements for new products
  • New Factories – ensure all new factories receive all the necessary info from our end i.e., sample tags, TRFs, carton marking layouts, etc.
  • Review and comment on all package label submissions.
  • Day to Day communication with factories and internal team members regarding the production process.
  • Review test reports for accuracy and file on a shared drive
  • Print/review weekly open-order reports
  • Maintain binders with all submissions of packages for our records.
  • Required to be available via telephone/WeChat evenings and weekends.
  • Item Creation – including entering data into the Item Creation template to be sent to the back office for processing.
  • Send all CPSIA and CPC letters to buyers as needed.
  • Create Maker Codes – update, maintain, and distribute the list internally.
  • Update any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all shipments are up to date in our system so the sales team has an updated inventory report.
  • Run Open order and Inventory reports as needed/requested.
  • Create/Maintain customer registration list.
  • Coordinate and follow up on all shipments from overseas – point person.
  • Upload approvals and submits any Licensing to the Licensor website.
  • Review and comment on all shipment layouts/templates – carton markings, shipping docs, etc.
  • Work with the back office to update the way reports are run through the system as needed per request.
  • FPO request – including entering data into an FPO template to be sent to the back office for processing; review FPO for accuracy, have signed by CEO, send to Factory.
  • Update sales on any delivery delays that may affect any customer deliveries.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, with wholesale imports or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 1 year of wholesale imports or related experience; or 2+ years in wholesale imports or related role.
