Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver mail and packages to various buildings within the Einstein complex.
  • Receive incoming mail from carriers including USPS, Fed-ex, UPS, DHL, etc.
  • Document and enter data into package tracking software.
  • Sort and process items for delivery on Resnick campus.
  • Receive, sort and deliver all incoming/outgoing mail and packages for the Einstein community.
  • Obtain signatures as required.
  • Deliver perishable materials in a timely manner paying close attention to special instructions.
  • Load trucks for deliveries to all areas of Einstein complex.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
  • HS Diploma and minimum of 1 year related experience
Skills & Competency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate postage machinery and adhere to U.S Postal rules and regulations.
  • Provides excellent customer service and has demonstrated attention to detail and good interpersonal skills. Ability to learn and use receiving tracking software.
  • Must be able to facilitate delivery carrier options to customer (e.g. best carrier method for time sensitive products, media mail, priority, etc.)
  • Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner.
  • Must be able to safely operate loading equipment including but not limited to hand truck, hydraulic lifts, etc.
