To meet increasing customer demand, we have recently opened adirect hire, full-time Production Planning Assistant position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure accurate documentation to accompany customer shipments (bill of lading, pack slips, advance ship notices). Assist with daily release of production orders to facilitate the production floor. Enter purchase orders, production jobs, forecasts, and quotes into our data processing system. Work closely with Production Planners to support all supply chain functions. Create the demand on capacity by entering and confirming orders along with website monitoring. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
