NBC Integrated Design is seeking a Production Artist to join our award-winning in-house design team. The Production artist is responsible for all aspects of finishing, refining, and preparing files for printing or digital delivery. The candidate will report to the Off-Air Production Manager.


Essential Responsibilities


  • Work closely and take direction from the Off-Air Production Manager.
  • Work with production and project managers to deliver all projects on deadline.
  • Basic retouching skills.
  • Collaborate with writers, print designers, motion graphic designers, digital designers, and social designers on revisions and approvals.
  • Build mechanicals and prep files for printing, or digital delivery.
  • Manage, organize and maintain design assets on our sever.
  • Troubleshoot all issues in the production process.
  • Break out logos in various file formats.
  • Resize and recompose key art for a variety of deliverables in both print and digital formats.


Qualifications


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in a related field and/or 5+ years working experience in design production.
  • Expert knowledge of the print production process, as well as printing techniques.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work under tight deadlines and participate as a team player.
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Basic retouching ability.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus


Additional Requirements


  • Salary range: $45,000-$80,000.
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
