  • 9 years of experience in product marketing with experience writing long-form content or executive keynotes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and make them human and relatable.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in program management.
  • Experience working with product/product marketing disciplines, with an interest in product development.
About The Job
As a Product Marketing Manager for Google Search Thought Leadership, you’ll develop innovation narratives for Google’s flagship product. You’ll help set the direction for how AI is transforming our products to make them more helpful and land our key messages at tentpole events. You’ll also amplify our storytelling to strategic audiences, including consumers, key opinion formers, partners, and press.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $154,000-$236,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Land our key messages at some of Google’s biggest stages, including Google I/O.
  • Package key messages for cross-functional teams to help drive engagement with different audiences.
  • Lead external thought leadership for Search’s product direction as well as our other consumer knowledge products.
  • Translate Search narratives for strategic audiences, including key opinion formers, advertisers, and press to demonstrate our approach to bold and responsible innovation.
