PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Software Technology Product Owner will help build and enhance software products. The PM will be responsible for guiding products’ development through a complete end-to-end lifecycle from inception through large-scale roll out.
This position required three days in an office in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Key Skills:
- Experience in retail catalog or restaurant menu management, and omnichannel operational concerns is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the subject matter expert working across technical and non-technical teams to establish the value and importance of operator facing software products
- Distilling business goals into product requirements
- Performance
- Maintain a positive rapport with all levels of vendor’s leadership team to find strategies to monitor and enhance vendor
- Negotiate Statements of Work, Service Agreements and other applicable vendor agreements to best suit brand needs
- Serve as Product Owner and participate in agile ceremonies alongside vendor partners, franchisee services, operations training partners, and other key stakeholders to interpret business and training needs to create product requirements, generate user stories, and guide product roll out strategies
- Own the strategic software product portfolio and manage product lifecycle – roadmap, backlog, prioritization, product

- Balance business needs versus technical and operational constraints when recommending product enhancements or
- Collaborate with brand stakeholders to document requirements, use cases, supporting business value and product
- Lead vendor evaluation efforts through RFP and on periodic basis encompassing needs across all brands
- Documentation, product reporting, product risk mitigation and KPIs
- Oversee vendor relationship, address and effectively communicate vendor related escalations in timely manner
- Complete hands-on lab & test system buildouts as needed
- Competitive landscape to guide business needs and identify new opportunities that ensure software products remain best
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- A proven track record of proving data based business value and driving priority based product road maps
- 5+ years of modern/lean product management practices, agile methodologies, and test-driven development
- Experience managing software products, leading cross-functional teams in the products/services roll out, coordinating implementation and setup cycles and delivering against roll out schedules
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
