About the Role:


At Wiley, we’re proud to offer innovative products that meet the needs of our customers. To help us continue improving our authors’ publishing experience, we are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Product Manager to support the development and execution of the roadmap for the Author Workflow across multiple established products. This position will identify opportunities to meet market needs by working closely with other product, technology, and UX teams and launching key product deliverables in support of the wider Wiley Research strategy.


How you will make an impact:
  • Actively soliciting stakeholder involvement and feedback in product development and growth plans, while communicating initiatives and milestones through regular updates
  • You will support a high-quality program that delivers on the Wiley Research strategy and for our authors by:
  • Championing the needs of authors and the team in internal and external stakeholder meetings
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining production release timelines across multiple departments
  • Translating product strategy and customer needs into business requirements
  • Collaborating closely with user experience and technology teams in the development, testing, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization


What we look for:


  • Strength in solving problems collaboratively and strategically across teams
  • Previous experience in a dynamic Product Management role with a track record of overseeing all elements of the product management lifecycle
  • Proactive and curious with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and spoken communication; prior experience of presenting to customers/stakeholders desirable
  • Knowledge of the publishing industry and operations desirable
  • Influences and motivates people, both within and outside the business unit, to work towards achieving shared organizational goals
  • Proven ability to interpret complex information, breaking tasks down into manageable parts and prioritizing these as required
