SEAT COMPLETE PRODUCT ENGINEER
MCCALLA, ALABAMA
As a member of the product engineering team, the seat complete product engineer will be responsible for the on-site product engineering support at the JIT seating plant in McCalla, Alabama.
The Role
Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Review first off tool parts and identify/track short-term and long-term solutions as required
• Liaison for German/Southfield seat complete product engineering teams to the seat & vehicle assembly plants
• Ensure seats meet design for manufacturing & assembly guidelines
• Support engineering change management process
• Coordinate production validation seat builds

Your Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a JIT Tier 1 environment or 1 year of OEM seating experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills
• Self-starter & team player who works well with others & has a positive attitude
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (mechanical, electrical, or equivalent discipline)

Bonus If You Have

• Person
• Previous Seat design experience
• Previous experience supporting a seating operation in an Industrial Engineer capacity
• Knowledge of German language
