Product Designer - Analyst

This role in summary

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Product Designer - Analyst opening in our Global Consumer Design (GCD) function.

The Analyst Designer is responsible for creating the customer experience for the next generation of home appliances. This person will support efforts to understand emerging trends, seek out real-life insights, conceive user interface design solutions, and assure uncompromising usability.

Your responsibilities will include

• Develops a basic manufacturing and industry knowledge, user needs, processes, and design influencers to develop a wide range of desirable concepts.
• GCD Analyst designer is responsible for collaborating with senior designers on conceptualization, visualization, and development of new products having an average level of difficulty, sense of aesthetics and user experience.
• Learn the product development processes, people, and design values; Manages personal time based on detailed task lists and delivery timelines.
• Influences peer teams within GCD by creating desirable assets; Develops personal and professional skills, Comprehends and executes strategies.
• Capable of communicating design solutions with internal design teams; With direction from the supervisor, creates documentation of design assets for various projects.
• Works to understand and support the development of User Experience and Brand Design strategies.
• Supports Senior design staff in the design process to reach clear, defined, and inspiring final design solutions; With moderate direction, manage creative activities for assigned tasks.

Minimum requirements

• 2+ years of experience using 3D Computer modeling
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design
• 3+ years of design experience in a corporate or consultant environment

Additional information

Employees in this role can work a hybrid schedule of three core days in office and two days remote. This enables employees to come together to collaborate in-person and gives employees the added flexibility to work remotely
