Summary of Role:

The Intern will be responsible for providing a high level of support cross functionally with all departments. The ideal candidate would be a current undergrad with a background in product, industrial and/or packaging design. This candidate would be someone who is artistic, creative, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn business operations and the functions of many departments in the home goods industry.

Responsibilities:

• Create and assist in preparation for various presentation using PowerPoint & other materials
• Support the team in daily administrative activities
• Act as day-to-day support on Product team’s initiatives
• Keep up-to-date on the latest products, trends nd insights through market research and store visits
• Meet daily or weekly with managers to provide a status update on projects
• Upload and maintain information across various platforms or internal programs
• Exposure to various design projects from market research, sketches, sampling to production will allow for demonstration of team experience

Qualifications:

• Currently Enrolled in Undergraduate Degree with a background in Product, Industrial, Packaging Design
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrators, Photoshop, and office 365

Additional Information:

• Duration: 3 Months(12 weeks) - Open to extend/renew
• Schedule: flexible, open to full or partial days, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday
• Anticipated Start: May
• Wage: $17/HR
• Hours: 30 hours per week
