Job Description
Company Description

REFID213756

At NIQ, we deliver the most complete and clear understanding of consumer buying behavior that reveals new pathways to growth. We are looking to add a talented Product Analyst to our Product Leadership team.

NIQ’s Product Leadership team develops and drives the product strategy for NIQ’s vast consumer data. Whether it be consumer panel, retail measurement or Omnisales measurement, our “Connected/Discovery” technology platform, or our suite of client applications, NIQ’s Product Leadership team defines the market opportunities that shape the products our clients use to make strategic business decisions.

As a Product Analyst, you will be at the heart of building and modernizing consumer panels and bringing NIQ’s valuable consumer data to the heart of our clients' daily decisions. You can expect to work in a cross-functional, global team to contribute to building our next-generation consumer measurement solutions, which is the center of NIQ’s product and technology evolution, enabling rapid innovation at scale to solve clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Operations, Technology, and Data Science to improve panelist engagement throughout the lifecycle, and establish best practice playbooks to effectively recruit, retain, collect data, and feed the data into production for client reports.
  • Able to articulate the product strategy, technical implementation, and operational process.
  • Contribute to designing effective test and control methodologies with clear objectives and success measures that enable ongoing experimentation to optimize panelist recruitment and panelist engagement.
  • Help connect the different stakeholders of the project and identify gray areas or areas of opportunity to improve.
  • Support project management by promptly following up on milestones or activities and adjust/fix where necessary to deliver our main product goals for panel expansion and app factory modernization in Western Europe.
  • Be an expert in panelist data across markets to provide feedback to the steering team and enable leadership to confirm or adjust the strategy to achieve the goals of panel quality improvement.
  • Help follow up the P&L of initiatives and monthly tracking of expenses or costs.
  • Support setting up a solid framework and process to track panel health and data quality across NIQ’s global consumer panels.
  • Be the expert on the key metrics that drive our panel business, recommend KPI’s, develop dashboards, identify noteworthy trends, and highlight potential areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an analyst role and interest in long-term career development in a Product function.
  • Fluent in Excel and SQL. Experience building dashboards, using business intelligence tools, and working with large data sets.
  • Work with cross-functional or multicultural groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to form a point of view on the client benefits for your products and services and the value to NIQ, connecting them to the design principles and articulating them to others.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and flexible environment where no two days are the same.
  • Prior experience with consumer panel or consumer-facing app experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Solid communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders and interface with clients.
