Procurement Manager, Frozen Fruit

This role is responsible for the day-to-day purchasing activities for Frozen Fruit. The role requires constant engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance management, including, but not limited to, the following assurance of quality, supply availability, competitive cost, continuous improvement, innovation and productivity savings.

This role can be based as a hybrid position at our Westlake Village CA office or remotely in any of the following eligible locations AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, WI.

• Sound interpersonal skill set to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Provide necessary inputs for supplier agreements, negotiate and monitor compliance
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies
• Conduct RFQ events, prepare bid analysis, negotiate and prepare & present sourcing recommendations to leadership
• 5+ years of experience purchasing commodities, preferably frozen fruit
• Manage supplier performance supporting Supplier Relationship Management initiatives
• Perform spend, contract and market analysis
• Ensure adherence and compliance to procurement processes and policies
• Demonstrated track record of initiative to deliver business results and improvement to P&L
• Advanced analytical skills with the capability to collaborate and strategically influence in order to drive and deliver objectives and move initiatives to implementation
• Stakeholder communication and management
• Other duties, as assigned
• Support all Supply Chain programs (and NPD) including supplier engagement, as well as process improvement
• Communicate sourcing decisions to Management Leadership teams
• Drive aggressive productivity goals and create a pipeline of projects
• Formalize Strategic Contract negotiations and implement objectives
• Develop materials in support of presentation, workshops and negotiations
• Capacity planning and business continuity plans in alignment with internal stakeholders
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Manage supplier relationships and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management Program with scorecards and continuous improvements) where applicable
• Progressive experience utilizing Strategic Sourcing methodologies
• Ability to form strong alignment with Stakeholders and Sr. Leadership Team
• Experience in successful negotiations and measuring progress year on year

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Master’s Degree preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead

Travel Requirements

• 10-20% estimated travel; ability to travel internationally, as needed

Hiring Pay Scale $120,000 to $140,000
