Job Description
SUMMARY Uses finishing processes on products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Accurately performs most finishing processes with minimal supervision. Operates the laser etch machine with little supervision.
Operates the polisher/tumbler. Performs basic to mid level assemblies. Performs passivation processes. Operates the grit/glass machines with minimal supervision. Deburrs and polishes parts quickly and accurately. Reads and understands blue prints, routers, work instructions and inspection procedures and determines the most effective method of work. Verifies quality by using basic measuring equipment such as micrometers or calipers.
Identifies and segregates rejected parts. Adequately documents work
Works overtime as required.
Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Excellent communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, routers and written procedures.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as circumference and to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Ability To Read Blueprints And Routers.
Demonstrates mechanical aptitude.
