TSMC Arizona is looking for a Process Technician to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Module Process Technician
TSMC Arizona is looking for Process Technicians to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. You will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust. TSMC Arizona’s Manufacturing Department is responsible for monitoring wafer manufacturing process, process analysis, and collaborative solutions.
Position Overview:
Work in an office-based operations environment, multitasking up to 25 web tracking systems to monitor the semiconductor wafer manufacturing.
- Utilize experience in semiconductor with an emphasis on process, analysis, and collaborative team toward a common goal
- Utilize technical aptitude, process analysis, issue escalation, monitor processing times, and work on a collaborative team environment
- Position is NOT working on the manufacturoing floor; it is office based at a computer workstation
- Training for these positions take 6-9 months to learn which include OJT, SOP learning, shadowing, video training, and 1-on-1 training.
- Utilize established procedures, supporting SOP, lean manufacturing, identify bottlenecks, and create solutions that support production goals.
- Manufacturing modules include Etch, YED, CVD, EPI, CMP, Diffusion, Lithography/Photo, and Metrology
- Memorize module defect codes per module, discover trends, production analysis, and mitigate production risk to align to production goals
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and leadership to manage defect codes, SPC analysis, control wafers, and system availability.
- Ability to provide detailed information to technical team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- Production work shifts are on 12-hour shifts on day shifts or night shifts, 3-4 days per week
- High school Diploma required
- Requires previous work experience in a semiconductor setting
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often sitting for long periods.
- AAS Degree, or Technical Certificate preferred, but not required
- Fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
