We are currently seeking a Graduate Process Engineer, to join the team based in Claremont, CA.
About The Role:
The Process Engineer will be involved in analysis and design of high temperature process equipment and systems for a variety of applications in the chemical, metallurgical, and environmental fields.
- Evaluate engineering problems related to equipment design and process systems and present the findings in the form of technical reports and presentations.
- Review design drawings for accuracy and compliance with company, department, and project procedures and requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications for process equipment and systems.
- Prepare documented calculations, analysis, and design work, and check calculations performed by others in accordance with company and department procedures.
- Evaluate the suitability of process equipment to meet specified requirements and prepare technical comparisons of various options.
- Provide engineering input for equipment and process design drawings and coordinate with CAD designers in the generation of drawings.
- Perform engineering analysis and design of process equipment and systems under the direction of project lead engineers as directed by an engineering and technology manager.
About You:
- You have achieved your Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
- Any candidate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, and an enthusiasm for the work will be considered.
You will have:
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills using the English language.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Interest to work and contribute within a multi-disciplinary team structure toward a common goal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Basic working knowledge of computer assisted design (CAD) software, fluid dynamics and related software (Ansys Fluent, Star CCM, etc.)
- Ability and motivation to work with moderate supervision to produce on-time results.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge and learning new skills.
Salary Range: $75K - $90K
