About this Position:
The main responsibility of a Process Team Lead is to lead process group zone Process Leads to develop efficient processes while maintaining manpower and Takt time targets.
Responsibilities include:
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste within process to improve efficiency.
  • Support business plan and budget activity.
  • Lead process group zone Process Leads to develop processes that are efficient while maintaining safety, quality, and delivery targets in a timely manner.
  • Develop manpower requirements based on factory characteristics that meet Safety, Quality and Delivery requirements.
  • Evaluate associate skill and performance. Determine/ Plan training needs.
  • Develop Model Takt time requirements based on factory characteristics that meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery requirements.
  • Maintain accurate Auto CAD department layout for parts delivery.
  • Audit existing processes to confirm accuracy and efficiency.
  • Confirm and approve associates time in Kronos.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
  • Additional years of experience may be required based on education
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience leading people and/or team
Required Education:
  • Associate’s degree in an Engineering or Technical field (Industrial, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing) or equivalent experience.
Desired skills:
  • Must be available for occasional travel (Domestic and International)
  • Presentations to management as required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Communicating changes to others
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Must be able to lead projects
  • Strong communication skills: verbal and written
  • Occasional overtime may be required without advanced notice
  • Must be able and willing to work flexible hours and weekends on short notice
Additional Position Factors:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an individual or part of a team to manage operation, manpower and parallel projects while working with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work additional overtime hours without advanced notice with potential travel on short notice.
  • Environment can be high stress depending on the situation but must be managed properly with a never give up attitude.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed to maintain schedule.
