Full-time salaried position starting at $40K DOE with benefits.Working on private estate in the North Valley in Albuquerque, NM.*Might work at Sawmill Market if Estate Garden work is caught up*
Job Purpose: You will ensure the appearance and upkeep of the facility grounds and environment in a clean, attractive, orderly, safe, and healthy condition. Your mission is to support the team and help create inspirational travel experiences for our guests and sustain adventure, art and culture of the Land of Enchantment.

Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism.
• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including valves, controllers, piping, wiring rotors, spray heads, drip tubing, bubbles, etc.
• Ensure that all work activities conform to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations and policies.
• Required to travel and stay for several days in a specific location when needed.
• Ability to operate various trade industry equipment (mower, skid loader, trenchers, etc.)
• Weed and pest control knowledge.
• Upkeep the landscaping, plants, and other grounds elements.
• Knowledge of lawn, tree, shrub, and garden care.
• Maintain parking lots, walkways, and entryways, including snow and ice removal as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have current, unrestricted driver's license and be able to maintain company group insurance.
• Strong irrigation system experience. (Irrigation Licenses a plus).
• Tree, shrub, and annual flower knowledge.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to extreme or variant temperatures, high and precarious locations, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
• 2 years of grounds maintenance or construction experience required.
• Frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required; conditions could include outdoors, indoors, and confined spaces.
