An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.


Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) utilizes administrative pools to fill vacancies for all of the following positions: Administrative Intern, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Student Activities, and Director of School Counseling. JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides administrative and instructional leadership within a generally autonomous middle school building for the maximum educational nurture of all children assigned in grades 6-8 and special education. This position coordinates all the services of all personnel connected with the school system. This position is responsible for maintaining the building and grounds in such a manner that is safe as well as conducive to the learning environment of the students. The position is responsible for coordinating the community activities directly connected with the school activities and those groups using the facilities. This position must also be able to implement the principles of school-based management by involving the staff and community in developing school objectives and by enabling the school to meet individual and School Board goals.


SALARY:

Grade 20: $113,152 - $216,811 per year (competitive benefits)
