Job Goal

A Press Operator requires skills such as reading schematics, basic manufacturing math, quality control and technical/ mechanical skills. This position performs typical press operations to support the production floor.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Trim parts in accordance with technical drawings.
• Complete setup and breakdown of molds with little to no supervision.
• Run the press with little to no supervision.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of press, workstation, and immediate press area by following good housekeeping practices.
• Read job travelers and interpret technical drawings to determine press setup.
• Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory and integrity.

Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position. Press operators must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.
