Summary
  • This position works under the supervision of the Clinic Medical Director and Vice President to develop and implement clinic goals. Provides day-to-day oversight of clinic operations and supervision of staff. Coordinates staff work, training schedules, manage patient care and satisfaction, ensure information flow, performs caregiver mid-year and annual evaluations, provides coaching, and conducts in the interviewing, hiring and orientation of new clinical caregivers. Audits clinical records to ensure all regulatory standards are met and looks for opportunities to improve current processes. This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Focuses within sphere of influence on operational and financial resources to achieve the clinic, department and Mosaic Life Care goals. Develops and implements a clinic budget and operational standards to achieve budget. Provides results review to explain variances monthly.
  • Maintains supervisory and mentoring relationships to help staff learn to handle processes and problems. Keeps bad habits under control and good habits rewarded. Leaves no caregiver unattended with work pattern problems that put the patient or organization at risk of decreasing quality of care or service.
  • Routinely provides objective descriptions of results for standards and established measures that matter to the clinic and department.
  • Adopts a workflow that puts the patient first. Set an example to meet patient needs to achieve 100% patient satisfaction scores and resolve complaints.
  • Maintains a constructive working clinic by teaching effective teamwork. Recognizes and addresses the causes of destructive interpersonal or professional conflict.
Qualifications
  • Three (3) years experience in a position with a health care organization or one year in a supervisory position.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in health or business administration preferred
