A PR Communications Specialist will work with a team and individually to brainstorm and execute weekly PR campaigns. These will focus on various products or sales Cozy Earth wants promoted. You will create and maintain your contact list as well as build relationships with various media members to pitch regularly to. The team will analyze the coverage of these pitches and give feedback based on the response of the product.

Responsibilities

• Write and distribute media pitches, and other communication materials to the media and other stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with journalists, partners, and other stakeholders in the industry.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PR and communication.
• Collaborate with other marketing and creative teams to ensure consistency of messaging and branding.
• Execute PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
• Provide communication support to other departments as needed.
• Monitor, analyze, and record media coverage of the company and industry trends.
• Develop and implement PR and communication strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation.

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in task management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant experience in D2C PR is a plus
• Familiarity with affiliate marketing is a plus
• Experience in media relations, including pitching and building relationships with journalists
• Familiarity with PR tools and technologies, such as Muckrack, Meltwater, or PRNewswire
