Power Bi Developer Jobs

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our Columbus client’s team. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data connectivity, performance, or data integrity. Provide technical support and training to end-users to maximize the value of Power BI.
• Analyze complex data sets and business requirements to create meaningful insights and data visualizations. Utilize Power BI's interactive features to present data in an intuitive and compelling manner.
• Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using Power BI.
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies, data quality standards, and compliance regulations throughout the development and deployment of Power BI solutions.
• Optimize data queries, calculations, and data loading processes to improve performance and ensure efficient data retrieval and processing within Power BI.
• Implement appropriate data governance and security measures within Power BI to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, understand data sources, and deliver high-quality Power BI solutions.
• Perform data modeling and data transformation activities to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within Power BI solutions. Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate, and user-friendly Power BI solutions.
• 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing Power BI solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of Power BI best practices, performance optimization, and security implementations.
• Proficient in data modeling, data visualization, and data transformation using Power BI Desktop and Power Query.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory, is a plus.
• Experience working with complex data sources, such as relational databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
