Power Bi Analyst (Remote)

A recognized education network is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff Remotely as their new Power BI Analyst. In this role, the Power BI Analyst (Remote) will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

The Power BI Analyst (Remote) will:

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionality and usage
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data visualization solutions using Power BI
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Power BI, data visualization, and data analytics
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data sets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborate with business users to identify and define KPIs and metrics that drive business performance
• Perform other duties, as needed
• Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation to ensure data integrity
• Design and implement robust data models, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and efficient performance
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring data quality and consistency
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall data analytics strategy of the organization
• Conduct data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and insights that provide valuable business intelligence

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and Dimensional Modeling
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Great interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of Data Visualization best practices & principles
• Expertise in SQL and experience in Data Manipulation, Extraction, & Transformation
• Highly organized
• Proficient in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query
• 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Analyst or similar role, working with large data sets and complex data models
• Strong attention to detail
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with other Data Visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView
• Relevant certifications in Power BI or Data Analytics
