Job Description

A postdoctoral position for a highly motivated researcher is available to join the lab of Dr. Eynav Klechevsky at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

The Klechevsky lab is working to understand how dendritic cells influence the development of immunity and cancer. We take a broad and multidisciplinary approach, which spans basic biology and translational medicine, to address the role of novel dendritic cell genes and receptors to improve basic understanding of dendritic Cell biology, and facilitate the development of improved diagnostics, vaccines and immunotherapeutics. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher at Washington University School of Medicine. The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for conducting daily laboratory experiments, researching, performing data analysis, and teaching as needed.


Qualifications


  • Data Analysis Skills, including experience with statistical analysis software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in an academic research environment is preferred
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals are a plus
  • A strong background and interest in research
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Laboratory Skills, including relevant experience in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology. Knowledge in bioinformatics is an advantage.
  • PhD or other relevant doctoral degree in biology, chemistry, physics, or related field
  • Teaching Skills, including the ability to mentor graduate and/or undergraduate students
