Job Description

Illyrian Group is looking for an "standout" Portfolio Analyst to join a renowned private equity firm and manage financial reporting, valuation and analytics across their multi-billion dollar portfolio. This role sits within operations and collaborates extensively with the investment team and portfolio company leaders. From a technical standpoint, this person will maintain portfolio company data and develop a deep understanding of key metrics, performance, cap tables and valuations.


Overview

  • Ability to communicate, build relationships and work effectively across all levels
  • Manage portfolio data collection process across designated companies
  • Understanding of common financial reporting metrics and cap table mechanics
  • Serve as an authority on portfolio company financials and valuations
  • Develop new processes and reports to drive efficiency across the operations team; create and disseminate custom reports
  • Passion, ownership and desire to stretch outside of comfort zone
  • Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, identify issues and reconcile conflicts and errors


Target Profile

  • 2-3 years experience in public accounting, FP&A or finance
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
  • Understanding of financial reporting metrics
