OVERVIEW An outstanding fitness and aquatics facility in southeast Denver is currently seeking a part-time Pool Maintenance Technician for our large aquatics facility. As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing our aquatics facility's daily maintenance, cleanliness, water chemistry, and overall presentation.
JOB SUMMARY
- Monitor and maintain pool filtration systems, ensuring their optimal functionality.
- Serve as a positive role model for all aquatic employees in conduct, presentation, and professionalism.
- Ensure the health and safety of guests in the aquatic area.
- Plan, train, assign, and direct work to maintain smooth operations.
- Work schedule may include one weekend day and weekdays. Early mornings, days, evenings, and holidays may be required as needed.
- Assign and perform routine cleaning duties to ensure a superior aquatic experience for our guests.
- Promote a sanitary environment for both aquatic staff and guests.
- Perform ongoing maintenance tasks, including opening and closing seasonal aquatics facilities.
- Conduct safety inspections to create a safe and user-friendly environment.
- Conduct routine safety checks of pools and equipment to uphold safety and health standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Carry out any additional work as required and assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, inspections, incidents, accidents, and chemical levels as assigned.
- Regularly test water samples and adjust water chemistry to maintain established standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in aquatics operations and maintenance.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in pool chemistry and filtration maintenance.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
CERTIFICATIONS
- Preferred certifications include Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO).
- Current CPR/PR/AED certification preferred.
