Job Description

*Florida based candidates only (EST) | Will commute onsite 1-2 times per month for collaboration


The PMO Director will have extensive experience in Project Management, will manage and mentor team members, assess and manage resource loads, and drive organizational effectiveness and accountability. The PMO Director facilitates planning, prioritization, and collaboration between groups, maintaining excellent communication with all levels of management and clients. Additionally, this Director is responsible for developing and enforcing efficient and effective methods and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Governance, Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Resource Management, Change Management, while managing a team of up to 20 PM staff, in addition to:

· Ensure that all projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines

· Collaborate with functional areas in the supervision of project personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions

· Lead Managers and Team members to conduct project audits in coordination with Finance.

· Conducts project reviews with Senior Leadership of the company, including planned vs actual for project cost, schedule, budget, and milestone progress

  • Lead project risk management efforts to identify and mitigate project risks and to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Analyze project data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and to ensure that project goals and objectives are being met.
  • Coordinate project resources, including project managers, technical experts, and other staff, to ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and financial plans, including tracking project costs and managing project resources to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and senior management, to ensure that project objectives are understood and align with internal strategy.
  • Develop and implement project management tools and software, including project management software, scheduling tools, and other project-related software.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers and project teams, including training and development, to ensure that projects are managed effectively and efficiently


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

· Eight (8) years’ experience in a PMO leadership role, preferably at Senior Manager or Director level.

· Proven experience leading and managing PMO teams, setting strategic goals, and overseeing the successful execution of projects. This Director will have proven career experience overseeing the successful execution of projects, developing project management standards, and leading a PMO

· Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, including an understanding of healthcare software systems, regulations, and industry trends, is crucial for effectively managing our projects.

· Client and Customer support minded. We are a B2B organization, our clients are healthcare companies.


Education/Certification

· Bachelor's Degree

· PMP or other Project Management certification preferred
