Job Description

  • Reports any needed repairs or defective equipment to Supervisor
  • All dumpsters on the front end, i.e. Ironers and Cuppers, must be emptied prior to a shift change
  • All dirty rag containers must be dumped prior to shift change
  • Performs janitorial duties at the can line, end line, office areas, rest rooms, and cafeteria in order to maintain an orderly plant
  • Relieves for employee breaks as designated by Supervisor
  • Assists in plant maintenance as directed
  • Salvage cans from areas identified as being qualified to be returned to the production line every hour
  • All garbage/trash cans throughout the plant must be dumped when they become 3/4 full
  • Sort cans, ends, divider sheets, etc. as instructed by Supervisor
  • Attend all required safety, environmental, and general informational training sessions and meetings
  • Floor on front end must be mopped once per shift
  • Performs secondary jobs as instructed by Supervisor
