Job Description
Location: Tomah, WI


As a Plant Controller, You Will Be Responsible For


  • Financial Management: Maintain the general ledger, implement internal controls, and conduct accurate month and year-end closings.
  • Expense Control: Manage and monitor expenses, accruals, and capital projects.
  • Leadership and Support: Provide direction and data on financial issues, support special projects, and perform ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Budgeting: Prepare annual sales, operative plan, and cost plan budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial analysis to support Division Finance Manager and Local Plant Management, analyze variances, and provide recommendations.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee capital and expense project justification, conduct financial evaluations of new parts, cost/work centers, projects, and strategic business opportunities.
  • Forecasting: Generate monthly sales and earnings forecasts, analyze operations to enhance profitability.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial information for plant, corporate, and government reporting.
  • Qualifications: bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing, evidence of lean-based concepts, and supervisory experience.
  • Purchasing Administration: Administer the Purchasing Card system for plant, oversee purchasing area and customer service function.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate physical inventories, manage inventory and financial standards for manufacturing materials.
