Job Title: Inventory Planning Specialist- with Amazon Experience

Location- New York, NY

Salary- $105k-$115k

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fashion industry planning specialist with a strong background in Amazon e-commerce to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for our fashion product lines, utilizing your expertise in forecasting, inventory management, and sales analysis to drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage seasonal merchandise plans for our fashion product lines, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives

- Utilize data-driven insights to forecast sales trends, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize inventory levels

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient execution of plans

- Analyze sales trends, market data, and competitor activity to inform product development and assortment strategies

- Monitor and track inventory levels, making recommendations for replenishment, markdowns, and promotions as needed

- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance against KPIs and identify areas for improvement

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing insights and recommendations with the broader team

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience in fashion industry planning, with a focus on e-commerce and Amazon marketplace

- Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, inventory management, and sales analysis

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools

- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the fashion industry
