Job Description

LimFlow is searching for an experienced and dynamic Planner based in Raleigh/Durham, NC, to execute on a wide range of supply chain planning activities to support our commercial launch and rapid growth in the US.


This role facilitates key supply chain planning functions including supply planning, detailed production scheduling, and ensuring supply & demand alignment while meeting strategic and business-related inventory targets. this position facilitates the entire production execution process including general communication with manufacturers, production order submittal, securing line-time and subsequent prioritization, production readiness, and production execution.


A Day in the Life:

  • You will support monthly inventory forecasting process with updates / information requests for assigned products – including status of purchases, inventory requirements and intercompany activity
  • You will work collectively with internal groups to ensure all aspects of product supply are coordinated to enable on time delivery and ability to meet customer requirements. This requires coordination with commercial, sourcing, procurement, regulatory, customer service, and logistics
  • You will create and maintain bills of material in to ensure compliance, accurate costing, and accurate inventory posting
  • You will facilitate monthly pre-sales & operations planning meeting preparations and follow-up for assigned products. Includes pre-meetings with commercial counterparts, running/revising planning reports, leading portions of monthly meetings, follow-up on meeting action items and publishing updated pre-S&OP reports to key stakeholders
  • You will build inventory plans for assigned products and aggregates the data to facilitate supply discussions and ultimately generate supply plans
  • You will support the budget process via supply planning and detailed production planning, which culminates in a full-year supply and inventory plan
  • As the liaison between operations and the manufacturing plants, you will ensure constant communication of requirements, priorities, and production delays
  • Facilitate the manufacturing process via building a detailed production schedule that supports supply, inventory, and customer needs, while providing a schedule that is efficient and aligned with third-party manufacturing capabilities
  • You will maintain ongoing communication with sourcing to ensure proper coordination of purchases and timely execution of supply plans
  • You will develop and maintain production records and prepare management reports as required and/or requested
  • You will execute accurate and timely transactions (e.g., inventory adjustments, goods issues, etc.) to support true available to promise for supply communication and local manufacturing orchestration. This includes daily, monthly and quarterly inventory and financial reconciliations required for business financial close, including issue resolution
  • You will support the production readiness process to ensure all technical, raw material, packaging, and label components are staged and available at the production facility with necessary lead time for successful and timely production startup
  • You will support quality objectives by driving continuous improvement as it relates to operational excellence KPI’s, manufacturing efficiency, new product scale up and supply chain optimization
  • You will drive process improvements as it relates to contract manufacturing relationships, production execution, the production/consumption posting process and creation of SOPs
  • You will submit monthly, rolling production schedules and the required production orders to manufacturers to secure line time and ensure alignment of priorities.


Must Have: (Minimum Requirements)

  • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills while being highly organized and detail oriented
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP system processes and key system functions related to demand planning, master scheduling and inventory management
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • 5+ years planning, master scheduling and ERP experience in a commercial medical device, biotechnology or pharmaceutical field
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, demonstrate a sense of urgency and responsiveness while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse, dynamic and geographically dispersed interdisciplinary team
