PIZZA COOK | DOUGH STRETCHER
Our Culinary Team is responsible for setting up the line with proper tools and products, and preparing their station for service. We seek individuals who thrive on quality, consistency and execution as well as maintaining a clean and efficient workspace to maintain Heirloom's Culinary Standards. Must be able to stretch naturally-leavened pizza dough to proper spec or maintain the wood-fired ovens to produce high quality pizzas to the standard of the chefs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed for both line cooks and prep cooks.
  • Maintain food safety and quality standards.
  • Accurately account for all items coming out of the station.
  • Communicate any food delays or issues to your Line Chef and other cooks
  • Ability to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • As a chef you will prepare a variety of meats, dough, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to restaurants standardized recipes.
  • Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
  • Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions.
  • Get along well with others and be a team player.
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives.
