A Pipefitter/Welder is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Pipeweld on 1/2" to 4" pipe
• Welding according to appropriate codes and procedures
• Install pipe and control systems for our customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry
• Other duties as assigned
• Following safe operating procedures for overhead cranes
• Lay out a job based off blueprints and efficiently working with materials to complete the tasks
• Setting up correct welder settings
• Use basic hand tools for disassembly/assembly
• Preparing weld surfaces as required

Qualifications

• Extensive experience installing, maintaining, and repairing high or low-pressure pipe and control systems is preferred
• Experience reading blueprints
• Pipefitting experience necessary
• Understand advance pipe fabrications and proper alignment and stress relieving of pipes
