Responsibilities

• Ability to Arc weld carbon steel piping (SMAW)
• Ability to work at elevations, and weld in position
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and isometric drawings
• Ability to help and assist others when needed
• Ability to be self-motivated, work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to take directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Ability to efficiently operate various hand and power tools
• Ability to TIG weld stainless piping (GTAW)

Qualifications

• Valid drivers' license (good record preferred)
• Pipe fitting experience beneficial
• Ability to travel frequently, work overtime and weekends
• Minimum of 2 years' experience pipe welding (industrial setting preferred)
• Must be able to pass a weld test (company)
• Ability to pass drug test and physical capacity profile
• Tig welding stainless steel pipe (socket weld, open root, sanitary)
• Arc welding carbon steel pipe (open root)
