Pickup / RV Transport Qualifications

• Must meet F.M.C.S.A. guidelines on safety clearance application
• All qualifications subject to management review
• Class A CDL -OR- Non-CDL with 6 months driving experience in the past 7 years pulling a trailer
• Must be able to pass Federal DOT physical and drug screen
• No more than two moving violations in the past 36 months
• Must be at least twenty-three years of age
• No drug or alcohol related violations in the past 3 years
• No more than one moving violation in the past 12 months

Pickup Equipment Requirements

• Mounted fire extinguisher with gauge
• Fifth wheel height MAX 45” with a 35,000-pound load rating
• Jack Stand
• Electric brake controller for trailer brakes
• Full fenders on rear wheels
• Fifth wheel hitch – 20,000-pound load rating
• Load equalizing torsion bars rated at 10,000
• ELD and Dashcam required
• Towing mirrors (Extended)
• Truck registration must be rated at 26,000 lbs.
• Model year 2005 or newer 3/4-ton heavy duty pickup truck (or larger) able to meet DOT requirements
• 12-volt battery for breakaway switch
• 1 Ton flatbed dually or larger
• Center Rail Requirements
• No stack exhaust; must flow below frame rail
• Seven pin (“Bargeman” female side) electrical connector mounted near fifth wheel hitch.
• Wheel chocks (2)
• 2” & 2 5/16” solid ball mount rated at 10,000
• Flat pin 2 prong 2 Vplug
• Current Annual DOT inspection must be within 30 days
• 2’ tow strap
• Emergency reflective triangles
• Large sturdy mud flaps
• 2 X 2 receiver hitch rated at 10,000

• Proof of Insurance if using your own coverage

• Bank/Checking Account Information – For Direct Deposit
• Clear Copy of Your Trailer Title/Registration
• Clear Copy of your Paid Form 2290 ( Heavy Highway Use Tax )
• Your Pickup – Inspected and a Qualcomm or Rand McNally system Installed
