Inventory Coordinator role will be responsible for managing inventory and administrative tasks at the site level, ensuring efficient material planning and workflow.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES **
Owning Inventory Storage, Handling, and Processing.

• Maximizing storage tower capacity to optimize floor and rack space utilization.
• Managing scrap disposal.
• Conducting regular inventory cycle counts.
• Implementing problem-solving strategies and 5S deployment in the Shipping/Receiving areas.
• Determining optimal placement of materials and packaging for work centers.
• Supervising Lift tags.
• Uploading daily inventory counts and strategically placing inventory to reduce waste.
• Consolidating tags.
• Managing order cancellations and modifications.
• Providing shipping with cost and location information for inbound shipments.

Supporting Planning

• Overseeing administrative functions within the planning department.
• Serving as a liaison between Planning and Operations.
• Assisting with remote stock and customer contract shipments.
• Cross-training in material planning to provide backup support.

Providing Operational Support

• Offering general support for Stratix.
• Understanding the material flow lifecycle from order generation to production and shipping of finished goods.
• Gathering data for Gemba boards and addressing inventory-related action items.

Contributing To Product Development

• Leading efforts with customers and suppliers to develop new products for UPM's expanding range of offerings.

Reporting And Communication

• Providing updates on current and ongoing activities.
• Participating in weekly sales call-in meetings.
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations for sales, management, customers, and suppliers.
• Submitting timely sales/product call reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
**Minimum of an Associate College Degree, AND 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management or Planning**
