Physical Therapy Aide - Out Patient

MCMC is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide for our Outpatient Therapy Department.

This position is temporary with an approximate duration of 6-12 weeks.

A 13% differential will be added to the base rate of pay in lieu of benefits.

This is a position is responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in providing the highest quality of services possible, while providing the patient with a pleasant experience. The Physical Therapy Aide recognizes that the responsibilities of this job are patient-centered and, with that in mind, he/she will organize, supervise and render the highest quality of care to each patient.

Flexibility is essential as this position will require rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Candidate must be a high school graduate and able to quickly and efficiently learn new tasks and procedures. Basic computer skills and excellent customer service are required. Medical Terminology and/or experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred along with completion of 40-hours of Aide training classes with competencies demonstrated in all skill areas. Bi-lingual skills are also preferred.
