PHP Developer, Mid

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to build a modern API that will help senior government leaders make smarter IT investment decisions? What about helping the government to open and publicize federal spend, to help support research and analytics into federal offerings? As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for a developer with the skills needed to build a robust application that will collect, validate, and present IT investment data from agencies across the federal government. You’ll help us and the government continue building and shaping this product platform to visualize and showcase trends in federal spending data to help make smarter IT decisions!

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements as part of an expanding IT Program. Using Agile best practices and an array of technologies, you’ll work with the development team to contribute to the Frontend Application of an open IT Portfolio API. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. In addition, you’ll work with a number of other teams and partners aligned to the process – from the backend team, to government policy makers, and vendors and users of the application to better understand and improve the process of capturing and monitoring federal government data.

Join us as we build systems to change government transparency and decision-making for the better.

Work with us as we shape systems for the better.
